ART

This year, 2012, pupils will be looking at artists' work and discussing their ideas, as well as learning specific skills. Pupils will use these ideas as an inspiration and together with their own ideas and the skills they have learned, create works of their own.

In year 7 pupils will explore "THE SEA" and it's life forms, how various artists have shown this in their work and create their own work in response, using wet, dry and 3 D materials.

In year 8 pupils will explore the work of various artists that reflect "OUR PLACE IN THE PACIFIC" and create their own work in response, using wet, dry and 3 D materials.

At the end of term 1 we will show some of these responses.
