ART

This year both year 7 and 8 are researching  ADORNMENT  and how humans have adorned themselves through the ages, present day and how CREATIVE COSTUME has developed as an ART FORM. e.g. WEARABLE ARTS,  TRASH 2 FASHION and in the movies like Narnia, Lord of the Rings and Avatar.

Pupils are designing their own creative adornments. In year 7 they are working with HEAD DRESS and in year 8 are concentrating on BODY DRESS.

Both years will practise Drawing, Painting, Clay work, 3D work using Natural Materials, Collage and Printmaking.

We also work with some Primary School pupils, in our area, on Technology Taster Days.
