FOOD TECHNOLOGY
All Bruce Mclaren Intermediate students enjoy up to 11 lessons in the FOODS ROOM.
In year 7 the main focus is on learning basic skills and on preparing simple recipes. Students are able to make snacks for themselves and are encouraged to help with family food preparation.
Year 8 students move on to more difficult recipes, with the emphasis on family meals and baking skills. Many students are able to prepare a meal for their family at the end of their time at Food Technology.
